Why do they have the topic "orange" but not the topic "apple"? I want Daniel and his apple.

"Red" is a topic and apples are frequently red.

Food is also a topic. Apples are food. I bet if you really tried you could work one of these words into every second story at least. But don't do that. We don't want people to get sick of apples. *gg*

There are certain disease that get transfered through apples. You could get sick of those. There are also a lot of people who generally don't like them very much. They don't know what is good for them, but still.

BTW, I thought I saw someone say that they were allowed to use fics they'd already written to count toward the 100. Is that true?

I have no idea, I didn't ask. I was planning to write 100 new fics. Although I do have 3 Daniel fics already in the works that I might count towards this. It depends on whether or not they fit any of the categories.

I'm happy with this choice because I can write Jack/Daniel or Daniel/Vala or Daniel/whoever-the-heck-I-feel-like! :D

And no, I'm not sane.

I'm been thinking about joining you on this. *laughs* I want to write, but I haven't been able to get myself to do it lately. *sighs*

If I were to do this, it would be with Daniel as well (if there are still slots), and I would do 100x100, or at least that's what I'd shoot for. 100 words go so quickly, though.

You'll do awesomely well, Alli. I've no doubts about that. :-D

I don't know if I'll get anything up "soon," but I wanted to sign up before the slots are gone. I think there are still 2 slots for Daniel. I've got a few ideas burning and I finally started writing. I think I needed to get away from those fics I still owe from Christmas. They're making me feel guilty and I just can't work on them right now.

Yeah, that's my reasoning. I just took one. Yay! :) I'm thinking about doing another one, but I don't know. I was also considering having Daniel with multiple pairings, but that doesn't feel right to me. So, instead, I'm going to see what sort of filling in scenes I can write. That should surely bring on longer stories, too.

That's a great idea. *snugs* Put them on the back burner and get on to other things. :)
