Yes, Again
Blood pouring out of me—yes, again—except this time death just might stick. Tomin's eyes are cold and he hasn't wiped my blood from his face. This was personal; he probably wants to watch until I die.
No timely beam out or guns-a-blazing rescue, and I doubt any Ascended beings want to stick their incorporeal noses into my business any more. But I wish for something. There are so many things I meant to do:

No timely beam out or guns-a-blazing rescue, and I doubt any Ascended beings want to stick their incorporeal noses into my business any more. But I wish for something. There are so many things I meant to do:
- Return Mitchell's copy of Demolition Man.
- Visit Sam and Cassie.
- Take Teal'c to the Szechuan House.
- Ask Vala to feed my fish.
- Tell Jack . . . again.

Date: 2007-11-13 10:53 pm (UTC)I love it though. The good, the bad and all the rest. It will be all over if I let myself back into fanfiction. I can't keep up with my regular reading and now I won't want to stop with this.
I will say one thing and that is you are very good at drawing on emotions. (at least mine). I always feel something after reading your writing, and for me that is one of the things I hope for going in.

Date: 2007-11-14 03:50 am (UTC)Now, as for keeping up with fanfiction, I fully admit that it can't be done (especially when you're reading in 4 fandoms, oy). But I try! When I'm too busy, I follow specific authors and I skim fics. If it's a gem, it'll pull me in and I'll read the whole thing. If it's not . . . you can usually tell in the first few paragraphs.
