Stargate Limerick Project

Real Person Limericks

Rating: PG
Award Winner
Oh, How I Miss DragonCon
Sci-fi actors beware
Of the girl with brownish-blonde hair
In her arms you’ll be caught
By Lady Hugs-a-Lot
And she’ll leave you gasping for air.

3rd place Best Real Person Limerick

Rating: PG
My Con Experiences
Sci-fi actors have met me
Like Carmen and the great Gary
Chris’s feelings weren’t hurt
Michael liked my shirt
And I was hugged by Paul—Squee!

Gen

Rating: PG
Award Winner
For My Hero, Walter Harriman
He’s known as that Chevron Guy
Know his real name? Give it a try
It’s on the tip of my tongue
I’m thinking, “Wa . . . rongue?”
“No one ever remembers.” *sigh*

1st place Cleanest Limerick

Rating: PG-13
Daniel On Vala
Even knowing “mal” means “bad” in the Latin
He is surprised Vala’s sheets are black satin
He’s a little naïve
Wears his heart on his sleeve
Sorry he suggested letting the brat in.

Slash

Rating: PG-13
Sparkage
From Jack and Daniel sparks would fly.
It seemed obvious they both liked guys.
Vala stepped in
Taught Daniel to sin
Now “Vala” is all Daniel cries.

Rating: PG-13
Mission Notes
Scrawled all over Jack’s mission notes
were rumors, and bragging, and boasts.
“I &hearts my woobie”
“Teal’c has man-boobies”
“Daniel likes to do it on boats.”

Rating: PG-13
Cameron's Secret Desires
He just wanted the old SG-1.
Cameron heard all about the cool fun
and wanted a part
of that SG-heart
and the chance to hold Teal’c’s big—staff weapon.

*hands over a towel to clean up the mess*

Think I can convince you to join the limerick fun this year? It'll start up in September or October.

Meh, I'm not very good at writing things that rhyme. I was very bad at poetry in grammar school. That said, September/October is still a bit off and I do love me a challenge. Maybe I'll get rhyme-y over the summer? ; )

I'd be happy to have you join us. My limericks get better with every project (2 for Stargate, 2 for Whedonverse, and now 1 for Doctor Who). Wander over to [livejournal.com profile] fandom_limerick if you want some recource links. I know we've got one up for a site called Rhyme Zone.
